Rss Power Plus
I have just managed to install RSS Power Plus as a plugin for my blog here.
I saw a tweet put up by Tim Buchalka earlier today “ Finally! RSS plugin is ready for download. Email sent to everyone. Free copy at http://tinyurl.com/6fljbl “
So I thought I’d go check it out. The link will actually lead you to Takeoverpageone.com/blog where you can sign up for a Web 2 10 tips ebook and importantly a neat little plugin that can be installed to your wordpress blog.
The plugin is designed to post your blogpost to a number of RSS Aggregators making use of an RSS feed which is automatically created by the plugin. Why would you want to do this? Well, it’s going to create back links to your main site quickly and help improve your search engine ranking.
There are two great camtasia video’s to walk you through the entire installation of the plugin which takes about 10 minutes.
I only had one issue, and that was where my .htaccess file in the root of my blog did not contain the line “SecFilterEngine off” without the quotes. This was easily fixed and I was able to complete the options.
We’ll now see how well it works, I’d recommend you go take a look
Cheers!
Ian

As always Ian learning new things from you all the time. Always a pleasure to come in and visit your blog!
This RSS feed plugin is going to work great with my new marketing strategies and I plan on implementing it right away.
I have been trying to use this plugin but the submission of feed to the various aggregators always fails. Have you managed to fix it? Can you help me to configure all the settings? Thanks
Hey quitter
Yes it works for me.. I did have a few issues but it’s working now
The best thing you can do is watch the vids on the takeoverone blog.. and also make sure you have filled in the user detais properly on the plugin config pages.
There’s support available from takeoverpageone if you are still having probs, they’re the experts
Cheers!
Ian
